4 and 5 year old Class We've got 13 fun-filled weeks in store for our precious preschoolers! Unit one focuses on God's care for His people. We'll share wonderful stories of God's care for Moses, Elijah, and Joash. We all need to remember to thank God every day for His loving care towards us. Our Bible truth to remember is found in 1 Peter 5:7 which says, "He cares for you." After five weeks of studying God's care for us, we will find ways on how to care for others. Two wonderful examples for these young children are praying and giving. Finally, our fall quarter will close with stories about thankfulness--a timely topic for Thanksgiving! Our preschoolers will enjoy Bible stories, singing, coloring, and handwork projects that they can take home every week. It will be thirteen weeks to remember! Primary Class Our wonderful first, second, and third graders will meet many new faces from the Bible this fall. Some of the people they will meet include a farmer, a cruel king, two brave spies, a preacher, a great leader, a woman who prayed, a boy who heard God call his name, a king who asked for God's best gift, and a king who knew how to pray--just to name a few! Our teachers will have fun introducing these Bible-time people to our primaries. Unit topics for this quarter include the following: "Knowing God Cares for Us;" "God Helps Us Make the Right Decisions;" and "Talking with God." It is our prayer that God's Holy Spirit would help our Sunday school teachers, parents, and students work together to display Godly attitudes, actions, and values. All things are possible with God! Junior Class We will examine some very interesting questions during the next 13 weeks in our junior class. Thought-provoking questions like, "How did the world come to be in existence?" and "What happened so that suddenly there was a world with people, animals, and plant life?" Each unit this fall--"God Makes a World," "Sin Enters the World," and "The Flood and Tower" will answer these questions and many others. As the students study each lesson and work the activities, their understanding of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will grow. We'll also take a peek at the lives of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, and Enoch in the weeks ahead. Plus, our teachers will share the wonderful stories of "Noah's Thanksgiving Day" and "Bricks and Slime" in November. We are truly thankful for our special 4th, 5th, and 6th graders! It is our prayer that our gifted
teachers will
be led by the Holy Spirit
to guide the moral and spiritual development of the children in our
church. We realize
that the lessons do not end on Sunday; it is just the beginning.
And we pray that
the Lord would use all adults as positive examples and role models for
the children to
follow. May God bless our super teachers and students and parents.
